Hi,
I'm
I have been working in software development in various capacities for almost three decades, and since 2023 I am focusing primarily on Agentic Engineering.
I build and lead teams and organizations, launching digital products and companies from scratch.
I've co-founded across New York City, Warsaw, and Singapore. I've grown bootstrapped companies organically, but I have also built teams at in high-growth startups. I've managed seven-figure tech budgets and navigated multiple near-death startup experiences while at the helm. I've united design and product teams to collaborate effectively with developers, introduced fundamental agile practices, run product workshops, sold projects to F500 companies, and guided ventures through acquisition and exit.
Over the years, I have recruited hundreds of people. I've also had to part ways with some of the best and dearest teammates. All told, I have meaningfully participated in shipping more than 100 apps.
I've worked in e-commerce, telehealth, recruitment, social networks, instant messaging, telecommunications, consulting, cybersecurity, and more. Most of all, I enjoy working in industries where I have no previous experience.
I'm a hacker at heart. I've a ton of terrible code—and a few lines of good software—since 1998. Not a single week passes without me tinkering with new ideas, reverse-engineering a piece of software, experimenting with new tech, or toying with some new business concept. You'll often find me working on a clever productivity trick, app prototype, low-code hack, drone firmware, or a practical tweak to my DIY off-grid shipping container cabin.
Fundamentally, I try to learn how the world works, imagine how it could work instead, and figure out how to get there.
Since 2023, I have focused on LLM-driven software development, working full-time and hands-on to build end-to-end agentic systems from scratch. In 2026, I founded Mongrel Intelligence—an umbrella company for my consulting activities dedicated to helping companies embrace Agentic Engineering.
I occasionally write about what I learn building these systems—most recently on designing CLIs that AI agents can actually use.
Whether you're interested in launching the next big (or tiny) thing, wondering if there's a way to build it—or just want to exchange war stories—let me know. I'm always happy to chat and help if I can!
